I love Manos del Uruguay, which is a mixture of wool and silk, hand-spun by a women's co-operative in Uruguay. I have recently started a new range of Opera Shawls - these are all named after characters in Opera, and knitted either in Kidsilk, a mixture of Mohair and silk, or in Shetland Lace.

New knitwear
First of all, I made this Shetland Lace scarf in one colour....I love this shade of orange, it's not one I use very often!
And then two more stripy scarves....
A Fair Isle beret.
Hat and scarf set in the wonderful Manos del Uruguay (mixture of wool and silk, handspun by a women's co-operative in Uruguay.
